On the occasion of the important anniversary of Il Tempo, the Roman daily paid homage to the Holy Father with a special gift: together with the insert celebrating the newspaper’s 80 years of history, Pope Francis in fact received the exclusive sanpietrino engraved with the anniversary data.

As a sign of recognition for the historic Roman newspaper, the Pope blessed the sanpietrino, a symbol of Rome and Roman-ness, at the Vatican.
