The celebration at the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome and an interview with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni

Eighty years of history, analysis, reporting and closeness to the great events of the world and the city. To celebrate the anniversary of Il Tempo a packed calendar of events and happenings kicked off on Oct. 23, at the National Gallery of Modern Art, with an event open to all friends of the newspaper that in 1944 was founded and edited by Renato Angiolillo. The mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri and former historical editor Gianni Letta. intervened with their good wishes and memories. During the happening, editor Tommaso Cerno interviewed Premier Giorgia Meloni.

And that will be just the beginning. By the end of the year, a second event will be held at the newspaper’s historic headquarters in Palazzo Wedekind to retrace with distinguished guests the highlights of the newspaper’s adventure in the capital. Throughout 2025 thematic events are planned in the provinces of Lazio and Abruzzo, historic areas in which the newspaper has been a partner in the social and economic development of communities. Eighty years of life. Time passes but Il Tempo remains.
